With a passion for social entrepreneurship, he works to transform traditional craftsmanship into sustainable livelihood opportunities while taking Indian handmade products to wider markets.

Suvetha Rajasekaran co-founded Ladi with a strong focus on women, craftsmanship and community. She works closely with artisans to strengthen traditional skills, improve craft development and create meaningful opportunities for women to grow with dignity, confidence and economic independence.

Began as Tribal Crafts, a sole proprietorship rooted in preserving traditional bead artistry and creating livelihood for rural women artisans.
Transitioned into a community-based enterprise, strengthening collective ownership and expanding opportunities for artisan families.
Partnered with All India Artisans and Craftworkers Welfare Association, New Delhi, for new product development and capacity-building programs, enhancing design innovation and market readiness.
Incorporated as Ladi Handicrafts Private Limited, marking a significant step toward structured growth and wider market reach.
Recognised as a Startup by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India.
Recognised and funded under the StartupTN – MSME Initiative, strengthening our mission of women-led entrepreneurship.
Entering the scaling stage, seeking national and global collaborations to take traditional craftsmanship to international markets while sustaining artisan livelihoods.
